Major track replacement work on the Øresund Bridge railway will cause significant disruptions to train traffic between May 27th and June 9th. Specifically, 3.5 kilometers of nearly 25-year-old tracks within the Øresund Tunnel will be replaced, according to the Øresund Bridge company.
From May 30th until June 9th, track work will intensify, proceeding around the clock.
The initial phase of the project, from May 27th to May 30th, will involve nightly track work within the Øresund Tunnel.
During both phases, only one track will be operational, leading to reduced train traffic capacity.
