The news that the President of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, Tatjana Dimitrovska, is suspected of revealing official secrets to a defendant in the “Additive” case, is proof that the so-called “fight against corruption” with VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM in power is nothing but a miserable theater for the public, according to Levica.

The woman who, they say, was supposed to be a leader in combating corruption, has become an accomplice.

“However, this is not an individual ‘omission’, but a consequence of the open political-party market selection of personnel. Namely, Dimitrovska was unanimously elected with maximum points by the MPs of VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM and DUI – the parties that are supposedly ‘irreconcilable opponents’, but united when it comes to installing party personnel in key positions.

Since being appointed as head of the Commission, Dimitrovska has not only not opened a single serious case, but has turned everything scandalous related to Mickoski’s government into banality. For example, the SCPC did not find irregularities in the trip of Mickoski’s son to the NATO summit at state expense; It did not find irregularities in the appointment of Bojan Hristovski as director of ANB despite the faulty English language certificate, the dubious higher education diploma, work experience, party membership and activity in VMRO-DPMNE,” Levica points out.

They remind that the wife of Zoran Zaev’s party lawyer – Sofija Spasovska Medarska, was also elected as a member of the current SCPC composition in 2023 with the unity of votes from the MPs of the broad coalition – VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM and DUI.

Hence, they add, the current Anti-Corruption Commission is the result of the well-known agreed model – you ours, we yours.

Levica demands that the entire composition of the SCPC immediately resign and that all the cases led by this Commission be completely revised.

For them, there is no justice and suppression of corruption as long as the parties appoint guards of their secrets and apologists of their corruption and crime instead of controllers of the government.
