The Russian Museum in St. Petersburg has alerted visitors about unofficial tour guides exploiting the popularity of the “Arkhip Kuindzhi. Illusion of Light” exhibition. These individuals are reportedly selling tours at inflated prices.
The museum stated on its Telegram channel on October 31 that unauthorized excursions are being offered for 3,500 rubles. This contrasts sharply with the official price of a guided tour, which is 1,200 rubles.
The museum emphasizes that legitimate tickets can only be acquired through their official website. This measure is in place to protect visitors from scams and ensure they receive accurate information about the exhibition.
The surge in interest in Arkhip Kuindzhi’s work has prompted the Russian Museum to introduce additional viewing sessions.
