Novosibirsk Resident Describes Fire and Escape from Burning Building

A fire in a two-story wooden apartment building in Novosibirsk injured three people and caused significant damage. The fire, which engulfed 600 square meters, led to a partial roof collapse and forced residents to break windows to escape.

The fire occurred on the night of October 18 at 8, 2nd Rimsky-Korsakov Lane. According to Galina, a resident of the building, the fire appeared to have started on the first floor.

Galina recounted how she smelled smoke and discovered the entrance was on fire. She attempted to extinguish the flames with water but was unsuccessful.
