Moscow Traffic Jams Reach 8 Points

Moscow experienced significant traffic congestion on Friday, October 31st, reaching 8 points on the traffic scale. The most heavily congested area was in the southern section of the Garden Ring.

The average traffic flow throughout the city slowed to approximately 25 km/h, according to the Traffic Management Center (TsODD).

Several factors contributed to the increased congestion, including ongoing road repairs in various locations, reported accidents, and inclement weather conditions, specifically rain.

Krylatskoye residents reported severe congestion due to road narrowing on Krylatskiye Holmy Street. In addition, Serafimovich Street experienced blocked traffic, and a multi-kilometer traffic jam formed on the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) near the Kaluga Highway and the Leningrad Highway exit.
