Two people were injured and hospitalized after a head-on collision on Leninsky Prospekt near Obrucheva Street in southwest Moscow. The accident caused a significant traffic jam.

The Moscow Agency reported the incident, and video from the scene depicts two cars with severe front-end damage. Traffic police are investigating the collision.

In a separate incident yesterday in New Moscow on the Kaluzhskoe Highway, a carsharing vehicle crashed into a truck carrying a portable toilet. One person was injured in that accident, with eyewitnesses reporting that the driver had to be rescued through the trunk of the heavily damaged car. This incident also led to a multi-kilometer traffic jam.

Earlier, in the north of Moscow, a bus and a Gazelle truck collided, resulting in injuries. The impact shattered the bus windows and crushed the truck’s cabin, scattering its contents onto the road.
