An explosion at the Avangard plant in Bashkiria has resulted in multiple casualties, with five people still trapped under rubble. Emergency services are on scene, and the situation is under control according to the Sterlitamak Mayor’s Office.

The incident occurred in one of the plant’s workshops, prompting a response from all relevant services and departments. Authorities are urging the public to remain calm and rely only on official information sources.

As of now, three individuals have been rescued from the site and are receiving medical treatment at the Sterlitamak city hospital. One patient is in critical condition in intensive care, while the other two are in stable condition.

Radiy Khabirov, the head of Bashkiria, stated that the search for the remaining five workers continues, and all other plant personnel have been safely evacuated from the affected area. The fate of those still under the rubble remains unknown.
