A 35-year-old man died on a federal highway near Lodeynoye Pole after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening. The pedestrian was hit on the A215 highway, which links Lodeynoye Pole with various settlements in the Leningrad, Vologda, and Arkhangelsk regions.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 PM, at the 12th kilometer of the A215 highway. The man entered the roadway and was struck by a Mitsubishi Pajero.

The pedestrian died at the scene due to his injuries. The driver of the Mitsubishi Pajero was described as an elderly man. An investigative team was dispatched to the location.
