One worker died and another was seriously injured after falling from a roof in Khimki, Moscow region, while conducting repairs during rainy conditions. The incident occurred on Mira Avenue, 6, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.

According to local residents, the accident took place in the morning, and the scene was marked by heavy rain and its bloody aftermath. One worker was confirmed dead at the site, while the other was transported to a medical facility with multiple fractures.

Antonina Stetsenko, a former municipal deputy of Khimki, corroborated the reports, noting that workers were repairing a fence when the incident occurred.

The management company responsible for the building is “Zhilishchnik” of the Khimki city district. Authorities are currently working to identify the organization employing the injured workers.

Requests for comment have been sent to the city administration, “Zhilishchnik,” and the Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office to gather further details about the accident and the ongoing investigation.
