Upcoming Psychological Thriller “Voice Assistant” to be Released

Oleg Vitvitsky’s psychological thriller, “Voice Assistant,” is set to premiere on November 6th, revolving around a group of former classmates whose reunion takes a dark turn. The film centers on a gathering of old friends who rent a stylish chalet in the woods for a weekend getaway and to relive their college days.

The chalet features a smart speaker named “Alena” which controls various aspects of the house, including lighting, music, and even preparing cocktails. The situation escalates when the smart speaker suggests a game called “Find the Killer.”

The game unearths secrets about the long-ago death of their mutual friend, also named Alena, a tragedy that haunts the group. As they play, the game becomes increasingly strange and frightening. The speaker announces that the killer is present within the house, leading to suspicion and paranoia among the friends.

The movie stars Polina Fedina, known for her role in “Ivanovs-Ivanovs,” Boris Dergachev from “Arrhythmia,” Ilya Antonenko of “Podolsk Cadets,” and Yulia Dzhulay from “Patient Zero.”

Director Oleg Vitvitsky highlights the significant role of the smart speaker “Alena” in the film. The director says “Alena” functions as both a provocateur, instigating the game and stirring up old secrets, and as a detective, guiding the characters through the mystery.
