A member of VMRO-DPMNE’s Executive Committee, Marija Miteva, has called on Mayor Jakimovski to explain how he and his family managed to acquire two building plots in the most exclusive area of Karposh, Zdanec, within a single year. She stated that the public deserves to know the source of funds used to purchase these properties in Skopje’s most expensive urban zone.

Miteva raised questions regarding the transformation of the plots from designated green spaces to building land following their acquisition by the Jakimovski family. She inquired whether a request for technical construction documentation had been submitted for these plots, and if so, who submitted the request, when, and the current status of the procedure.

Furthermore, Miteva questioned the alleged acquisition of a villa in a Greek tourist destination by the Jakimovski family in the past year, in addition to the domestic plots. She emphasized the need for answers and a determination of whether public or private interest prevails in Karposh. She also questioned the possibility of earning enough to purchase all the mentioned real estate.
