Kumanovo will see significant improvements to public spaces, infrastructure, and green areas around “Oktomvriska Revolucija” boulevard, according to mayoral candidate Maksim Dimitrievski. The leader of the ZNAM Movement – For Our Macedonia shared plans that include expanded parking, preserved green spaces, and new recreational areas.
Parking will be expanded and properly marked around the buildings on the boulevard as part of the second parking zone. This zone will encompass the local communities of “Panche Peshev” and “BS Gojcho” and will be free for residents.
Dimitrievski stressed the importance of preserving green areas like “Oreov Lad,” promising no urbanization in that location. Instead, a new kindergarten and additional green spaces will be constructed there.
The Tabakana locality will see the removal of temporary structures to make way for new parking, a children’s corner, and more green spaces. Similar improvements are planned near “Skara kaj Zhmara,” where a sports and recreation complex and a new playground will be built. The K4 complex will also receive a new children’s corner, expanded parking, and new green areas.
Dimitrievski emphasized the need for balanced urban development, opening new construction zones for investors to allow the city to expand outwards while preserving living space.
He urged citizens to participate in the second round of elections on November 2nd and support his candidacy to ensure continuity and further development for Kumanovo.
