Arrests in Public Hygiene Management Due to Environmental Crime Suspicions

Two members of the management team at Public Hygiene – Skopje have been arrested and detained under suspicion of committing a crime against the environment and nature through improper waste disposal, as stated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The arrests relate to potential violations of Article 230 of the Criminal Code, which addresses offenses related to endangering the environment with waste.

Some reports have identified one of those arrested as Sabahudin Rustemi, the director of Public Hygiene.
