Amar Mecinovic, the mayoral candidate for the City of Skopje from Levica, has characterized his campaign as a “generational struggle”. This statement follows his first debate with opponent Orce Gjorgjievski from VMRO-DPMNE.

Mecinovic expressed gratitude to citizens for their support via social media. He specifically addressed the “underprivileged and rejected,” as well as the “tormented and suppressed,” including single-parent families and those struggling during these times.

He asserted that the current period is intended for them, not for others, suggesting an imbalance of opportunity. Mecinovic concluded his message by stating, “The last moments of their time are ticking, now it’s our turn!” This implies a shift in power or influence is imminent.
