VMRO-DPMNE Candidate Orce Gjorgjievski’s Rally Speech in Skopje

VMRO-DPMNE mayoral candidate Orce Gjorgjievski addressed supporters at a rally in Skopje, emphasizing the need for experienced leadership and concrete solutions to the city’s accumulated problems. He argued that Skopje does not need experiments or inexperienced individuals who are just beginning to learn about local self-government.

Gjorgjievski stressed that Skopje faces serious and deeply rooted issues that require urgent attention from someone with a proven track record. He stated that the city cannot afford to waste time on leaders who need to learn the basics of urban planning and budgeting on the job.

He highlighted his past achievements in Kisela Voda, where he claims to have delivered on promises such as asphalting 70 kilometers of streets and building new kindergartens to eliminate waiting lists. Gjorgjievski presented a comprehensive plan with numerous projects aimed at resolving the city’s traffic problems.

Key proposals include unblocking the Momin Potok interchange, extending Hrvatska Boulevard, completing ASNOM Boulevard with a new bridge, widening Cvetan Dimov Boulevard, and constructing Fevruarski Pohod with a new bridge over the Vardar. He also proposed introducing a third lane on Aleksandar Makedonski Boulevard to alleviate traffic congestion. Gjorgjievski presented these projects as vital arteries that will revitalize the city.

Gjorgjievski urged the citizens of Skopje to place their trust in him based on his past accomplishments and clear vision for the future, as the second round of local elections approaches on Sunday, November 2nd. He emphasized that the upcoming decision will determine the city’s future and the kind of environment in which future generations will live.
