A 59-year-old man from Skopje, identified as B.R., was arrested by Skopje police officers following a hit-and-run incident on “Pero Nakov” street. The arrest occurred around 7:30 PM yesterday as a result of operational measures taken by the Intervention Police Unit at the SIA Skopje.

The incident took place on October 28, 2025, at approximately 8:30 PM. B.R. allegedly struck an 11-year-old minor from Skopje with a “Fiat Seicento” passenger vehicle and subsequently fled the scene.

The minor sustained severe bodily injuries as a result of the accident and was treated at the “Mother Teresa” Clinic Complex.

Following the report of the incident, authorities immediately launched an investigation, successfully locating both the driver and the vehicle involved. B.R. is currently being held at a police station under the order of a public prosecutor. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed against him.
