The allegations involved a woman, now 32 years old, who claims the abuse occurred 16 years ago when she was 15. She has reported the comedian to the police.

Spang’s press officer, David Birch, has stated that the comedian will not comment on the specifics of the new accusations.

In his Instagram post, Spang emphasized that he will not provide any further statements until the police have investigated the accusations.
