Crown Prince Christian of Denmark celebrated his 19th birthday this week, and the Royal House marked the occasion by releasing a series of official portraits.

The seven photographs were taken at and around Amalienborg, the royal residence where the Crown Prince lives. The images offer a glimpse into the life of the young royal as he approaches adulthood and prepares for his future role.
